Cancelations and reschedules
Cancellations are refundable 10 days before your tour. Free reschedules (according to availability) 2 days before the tour.
If you cancel less than 10 days before your tour we will keep the deposit and charge you the balance due. Last minute reschedules cost 30 USD per person.
We are a very small company when you book and cancel you are preventing us from selling those tickets we lose the income from that day. Late arrivals can´t be rescheduled for the same reason listed above.
Non shows count as cancellations, we will keep your deposit and charge the due balance on your registered credit card.
Change Of starting time
We reserve the right to change your starting time up to 15 minutes, we will let you know your starting time a 24 hours your tour, through a reminder email containing the final starting time and all the information relevant for the tour.
Late arrivals
We can wait for you 5 – 10 minutes depending on the itinerary, if you don´t arrive on time we will charge your credit card with the balance due and you won´t be able to reschedule.
Release of liability
In addition, I acknowledge that I have voluntarily applied to participate in the tour designated on this application. I do so with the knowledge of the risks and dangers involved, including but not limited to:
- Negligence in the conduct or arrangement of this trip in any respect from inception to completion;
- Physical exertion for which I am not prepared;
- Forces of nature;
- Transportation failures whether by subway, bus, car, by foot, or by any other conveyance;
- Consumption of alcoholic beverages;
- Risks associated with food or impure water;
- Food poisoning;
- Civil unrest; terrorism;
- Criminal activity;
- Accident or illness without access to means of rapid evacuation or availability of medical supplies or services;
- The adequacy of medical attention once provided;
- Damaged, stolen, lost, or misplaced property.
I HEREBY AGREE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MY OWN WELFARE AND PROPERTIES AND ACCEPT ANY AND ALL RISKS OF DELAY, UNANTICIPATED EVENTS, INCONVENIENCE, ILLNESS, INJURY, EMOTIONAL TRAUMA OR DEATH.
I acknowledge that participation in Eat Like a Local Mexico´s tours is based upon my execution of this Liability Waiver. I hereby RELEASE AND DISCHARGE EAT LIKE A LOCAL MEXICO FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL LIABILITY ARISING FROM MY PARTICIPATION IN THE TOUR. I agree that this release shall be legally binding upon me personally, all members of my family, and all minors traveling with me, my and their heirs, successors, assigns, and legal representatives, it is my attention to fully assume all the risks associated with this trip and release Eat Like a Local Mexico from any and all liabilities to the maximum extent of the law.
Weather Considerations & Force Majeure
Rain or shine, you’ve got to eat! We’ll make sure that you’re well-fed, despite the forecast. In the case of rain, we will provide an umbrella.
Tours run regardless of weather conditions. In case a tour is jeopardized or impossible due to force major, weather events, political disturbances or strikes, tours can be canceled if we believe it is necessary. And the cost will be refunded immediately
Insurance
The Company recommends that guests purchase travel insurance for their trip to cover cancellations, delays, and medical issues, etc. that might impact your ability to attend your tour. You agree that the Company is not liable for loss associated with any unforeseen event and all claims must be processed through the guest’s insurance company (and not the Company).
