Eat Like a Local´s goal is to help all people involved in our tours to develop their business and have a better life, changing their perspective is our way to help them believe in themselves and start generating ideas and new business models. On this program, I take great vendors with amazing food from markets like La Merced, to high-end markets in completely different neighborhoods.
Through this Pop-up events, vendors get to experience a change of ideas, they get exposed to different people, they realize that their food is delicious and people are willing to pay more. From Market to Market wants them to dream bigger, to believe in themselves, and nothing boost your self-esteem better than a bunch of people eating your food and telling you how amazing it is.
In addition to this, vendors get a logo design by Andrea Alfaro, custom-made aprons by Mercadorama, business cards, PR campaign by Zeehorse, Social Media profiles managed by Maria Rebeca and advisory on the business administration to create a catering company.
This is an amazing, eye-opening and empowering experience for vendors and also great for local people who never get to try this kind of food due to the complicated locations and sometimes unsafe areas where they originally sell these products.
