Spanish conversation with Rocío

I´m Rocio Eat Like a Local´s founder. I was born and raised in Mexico City and spent my whole life here. I´m a passionate traveler and a foodie obsessed with markets. I advocate for better business practices and more fair wages and working conditions, I´m also an animal lover and a city person, I love to walk in random streets observing the architecture, the shops, and the people passing by.

I also have a passion for dancing and for getting into fights for the things I believe in, I think that neutrality is shit because when you are neutral you are on the side of the oppressor, so yes, I fight with people a lot over human rights, justice, drivers who run over pedestrians and abusers in general.

We can talk for 1 hour about different topics and I will correct your pronunciation, grammar and teach you the slang and phrases that we use in our daily life.

If you schedule your conversation session when street vendors are open and you wish to practice stuff like ordering tacos,  shopping for veggies, and fruits, learning ingredients, or how to tell a vendor that you loved the food. I can take you to their stalls to facetime with them. Don´t worry you are not wasting their time I´ll pay them a fee.

This way you´ll meet local people and you´ll help them with extra cash during this economic crisis.

HOW MUCH?

Single lesson and packages

1 hour – 30 USD (600 MXN)

5 hours – 145 USD (580 MXN per hour)

The lessons will be charged in pesos, the dollar is changing so fast that sometimes is in $22 MXN per dollar, sometimes is $19,50 MXN. So we decided to establish a 20 MXN price that is more stable in Mexico.
