Are the experiences suitable for children or teenagers?
Yes we love children and teenagers and they usually are fine in all tours but they prefer the Mexican Food 101; or if you are coming with a group, the private tour for children; might be the one for you.
How much walking is involved?
Depending on the tour, it could be from 1 to 5 miles.
I am a vegetarian/vegan/lactose intolerant/celiac. Are the safaris for me?
Yes we can accommodate you if you have gluten or lactose intolerance all tours are good, the best tour for vegetarians is Mexican Food 101, however, if you are vegan is better to join The Vegan Tour
Are solo travelers welcome?
Yes, I’m a solo traveler, so, as a company policy all solo travelers are welcome, even if the tour has no more people, we will still run it for you. I hate when they cancel on me for being a solo traveler, so, my company is solo traveler-friendly
Do you run private experiences?
Yes! We run private tours, the regular tours are for 6 guests max, but we can accommodate more in private groups if it´s your birthday celebration, your bachelor or bachelorette party or a pre-wedding event. Let us know, and we can plan a special tour for you of course with special group rates 🙂 just send an email [email protected] and we’ll answer right away

What is not included?
Any shopping and drinks such as champagne, or fancy cocktails. Transport to the meeting spot, and transport from the last restaurant to where you may want to go, later on, is not included either.
How can I pay?
We request an upfront deposit when booking, this can be paid easily online. The due balance is then paid in cash at the beginning of the tour.
Can I pay in USD?
The short answer is yes. But we prefer pesos because we can´t use dollars here.

We are sorry but we do not accept credit cards at the moment. We have been looking for a viable solution for a long time but are yet to find it.
Consider that we will use the subway and as in any major city, the pickpocketers are working wherever they may find crowds or in touristic areas, nonetheless, the police is very much present and in general terms the city is safe so, we strongly recommend you to be careful with your stuff. Specially cellphones.
La Merced Market has a shady reputation, nevertheless being inside the market is pretty safe in terms of violence; however it is a busy market, and everybody, even us locals, can be pick-pocketed. This can easily be avoided by holding your bags in front of you and ALWAYS keeping your hand in the pocket holding your cellphone and wallet.
